The vocation of CEA LIST is to help companies increase their competitiveness through technological innovation and transfer of its technical know-how to industry. Its activities concern Robotics, Virtual Reality, Human-Machine Interfaces, Knowledge Engineering, and Computer technologies and Systems. The CEA LIST represents around 750 people. This project is addressed by the Sensory and Ambient Interfaces Laboratory (SAIL), which is part of the CEA LIST.
CEA LIST has expertise in the development of haptic and tactile feedback and sensing technologies, in user-centred design of these technologies and in the adaptation and the development of biosensors. We cover the whole design cycle from user requirements analysis and prospective evaluation of future applications to evaluation of interaction techniques and usage in realistic settings.
